5 STARS!!!! This book is basically naughty in every since of the word. However, it has a beautiful story to read. "Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms. Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires." So I was captured by this book...not even gonna lie. It had me thinking, swooning, and loving it all through it. I was torn, I so wanted to hate Christian so much because he can be so cold, but then so sweet and loving, however everything is still so clinical and so matter-of-fact, which I hated at times. I like a man whos in control but geesh he had me at times thinking, back the truck up...I love Ana, she was innocent, naive, and lovely. Im fifty shades inlove with this book: … you were looking up at me all ‘kiss me, kiss me, Christian’,” he pauses and shrugs slightly, “I felt I owed you an apology and a warning.” He runs his hand through his hair. “Anastasia, I’m not a hearts and flowers kind of man, I don’t do romance. My tastes are very singular. You should steer clear of me.” He closes his eyes as if in defeat. “There’s something about you, though, and I’m finding it impossible to stay away. But I think you’ve figured that out already.” My appetite vanishes. He can’t stay away! “Then don’t,” I whisper. He gasps, his eyes wide. “You don’t know what you’re saying.” This book gives you everything you could possibly want. Passion, sex, naughty talk, sweet and simple moments, he has this uncanny ability to know what she needs and what shes thinking or just showing up when the time is right. Im such a sucker for Christian, hes the bad boy but not, just sheer mysterious at first. However, Ana is just simple, she is just someone who needs the basics, she has a college degree, and good family, a new career, and just a great love of life. She cant help but fall inlove with Christian. Hes everything you could ever ask for. Hes amazingly atractive, she describes him as being one of the most beautiful people shes ever seen, hes extremely successful, very wealthy, and has a great family. :) This book DOES deal with some terribly sensitive subject matter. You’ll experience uncomfortable moments. You’ll occasionally be appalled, and even outraged at his “methods”, his harsh tones, and his explanation of who he is and what he expects of those in his entourage. Especially her. This is another case of “just go with it”. Don’t think too much. It’s just so much fun *feeling* along this dark (and sometimes light) path, with Ana. The euphoria (lots of it), the worry, the self-reflection, the delicious, addictive angst. The choices. Oh yes. There are always choices. He may be a Dom, but who is really in control here? Right. Just remember that. ;) “Okay, and what do I get out of this?” He shrugs and looks almost apologetic. “Me,” he says simply. Check please! Im in. Happy Reading. I loved it.
